Call of Duty League confirms maps and modes for 2025 season

While Call of Duty League (CDL) viewers wait for the 2025 competitive season to kick off, Activision has confirmed the maps that will be in the competitive Hardpoint, Search and Destroy, and Control rotation.

The CDL maps and modes have been confirmed earlier than previous years. This is likely due to the fact that Ranked Play is also launching early in the lifecycle of Black Ops 6.

As you can see, Control maps are lacking and the inclusion of Red Card has prompted a lot of eyerolls among the community. However, a simple solution could be on the way in the not so distant future.

The Black Ops 6 Season 1 Reloaded update will bring Hacienda to multiplayer modes. The beloved map that debuted back in Black Ops 4 was also part of the 2019 competitive pool in all three modes. Therefore, Hacienda could be added to the Control map set and replace a Hardpoint and Search and Destroy map for the Black Ops 6 season. Let’s just hope that the spawns are up to scratch.

Ranked Play is scheduled to go live in Black Ops 6 on November 21, 2024. For most players, this will be the first time that they can hop into the maps and modes listed above with the CDL ruleset enabled.
