The Precinct needs you as the front line of defence to protect Averno’s citizens against dangerous criminals. The Precinct is coming in hot with its latest update, allowing for solo play and more customisation options.
The patch will prepare you to go alone, as your partner is heading for retirement. Also, freshen up your style for the occasion with new clothing options.
A lone wolf
Up until now, the only way to hit he streets was with backup. With the newly released solo mode, you can toggle your partner off, meaning it’s just you and your patrol car against a city riddled with trouble.
That’s not all, as police cars and Officer Nick Cordell Jr. himself has received further customisation options. All six squad cars now have six slick new vinyl to choose from. Go for a makeover that matches the city, or express your individuality with a custom look for your own vehicle. As for cop items, the update has introduced ten outfits, eight hats, and four types of glasses to keep Officer Nick Cordell Jr. looking the part while clamping down on crime.
If you’re yet to dive into the noir action-adventure that is The Precinct, the game will be part of the Steam Summer Sale, commencing on June 26, 2025, and it will also receive a discount on the PlayStation Store until July 2, 2025.
This update will arrive in The Precinct “later this week” on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S. Get a first-look at the upcoming content through a dedicated update trailer.
