The fantasy world of Dragon Shelter with Overcooked-inspired kitchen challenges releases its demo

Dragon Shelter steam demo

Farming and cooking sims are made a whole lot better when there are adorable and loyal dragon companions involved. That’s exactly what Dragon Shelter has to offer and you can get a first look at your next adventure through the newly released demo. Developed by a team of indie developers over at Wild Forest Studio, Dragon Shelter has become quite the passion project.

After two years in development, Dragon Shelter creates a fantasy world through farming, befriending and training dragon companions, and trying your hand at Overcooked-inspired kitchen challenges, where teamwork and timing is key. Become a hero who’ll restore lost friendship between humans and dragons, and pump happiness into the townsfolk who have lost hope.

Winning over the hearts of dragons and residents

A demo trailer shows off some Dragon Shelter gameplay. From befriending loving dragons (yes, you can pet the dragons,) to growing magical crops, and crafting, the vibrant world isn’t short on tasks to complete.

In a press release, Wild Forest Studio CEO, Sergey Kornilov, said “we’ve poured our hearts into this game.” He continues, “as a small indie without a major publisher behind us, this demo is our lifeline — a final push to get our dream across the finish line. Community support is our biggest hope.”
