The FIFA video game series rebranded to EA Sports FC in 2023, making the final FIFA-branded game FIFA 23. Despite the name change, one of the most exciting aspects of an initial EA Sports FC reveal has historically been the player that is on the game cover. If leaks ring true, we may know who will be representing EA Sports FC 26.
Some of the best names in football have featured on the game cover such as Kylian Mbappé. Marco Reus, and of course, the likes of Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo. If the latest rumours are anything to go by, FC 26 will be headlined by a familiar face.
Sticking with the Real Madrid star
EA FC leaker, Fut Sheriff, supported a claim by Lean Design on X, claiming that Jude Bellingham will be on the cover of EA Sports FC 26. Bellingham was on the cover of the most recent game in the series, EA FC 25.
Appearing on the cover of two or more titles in a row isn’t something new. Lionel Messi was on the covers of FIFA 13, 14, 15, and 16, consecutively. In more recent times, Kylian Mbappé was the athlete on the cover of FIFA 22 and FIFA 23.
Despite Real Madrid falling short on many occasions this season, Bellingham had another strong individual performance, making him one of the most deadly midfield threats in the sport.
EA Sports FC usually hits storefronts around September or October every year. If that trend continues, it won’t be long until the official cover art for EA Sports FC 26 is revealed.
