Treyarch confirms levels not showing in Black Ops 6 and Warzone lobbies is a bug

black ops 6 and warzone lobby levels not showing

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone Season 04 update has come with an array of bugs, with player levels not showing in the lobby now confirmed to be one of them.

Naturally, this lobby change fuelled speculation that levels were hidden intentionally to stop players from leaving the lobby if they were up against individuals of a higher level. Due to the fact that players are hidden on an inconsistent basis, it is looking more like a bug, rather than developers testing out a new feature.

Lobby levels are coming back

Under Global Known Issues on the Black Ops 6 and Warzone Trello Board, Treyarch added a card for “Level and Level Icons may not appear for matchmade players in the Lobby list.” The card was added on May 30, 2025 and is marked as currently being under investigation.

This acts as confirmation that the developers are aware of the issue and that a fix will be coming in the future. When lobby levels will show up again in Black Ops 6 and Warzone is unknown, but it should revert back to normal as part of an update.

The other bugs Treyarch are actively trying to fix is a bug that means players are unable to equip the Monolithic Suppressor on the new LC10 and FFAR 1 weapons, social menus showing the incorrect status of friends on your list, and players being unable to change stance after calling in a Dreadnought, among others.

Known bugs across all modes can be tracked via the Trello Board.
