The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt gets 10 year anniversary Xbox controllers

It has been ten years since The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt hit storefronts and to celebrate, CD Projekt Red marked the milestone by collaborating with the Xbox team to create a themed controller. The controllers in this style are the Xbox Wireless Controller – The Witcher 3 10th Anniversary Special Edition and Xbox Elite Wireless Controller Series 2 – Core The Witcher 3 10th Anniversary Special Edition.

This one-of-a-kind piece of kit is equipped with everything a Witcher needs to slay through the opposition. However, becoming the owner of this controller will leave a dent in your wallet.

The magic is in the detail

The wolf medallion iconography can be found at the very centre of the sleek, black controller. The wolf’s head is positioned just below the Xbox button and between the other inputs are glowing red eyes. Other decorative elements include red claw marks from The Witcher 3’s logo and the controller triggers sport different colours to represent witcher’s twin swords — silver for monsters, steel for humans.

Those familiar with the Glagolitic script, the oldest known Slavic alphabet and the same one found in the game itself, will notice it is etched onto the controller with a message to decipher.
