Atomfall has become Rebellion’s most successful launch in the studio’s 32-year history. So far, over 2.5 million players have explored the quarantine zone. To keep players coming back for more, the Wicked Isle DLC for Atomfall has been unveiled which draws on the survival game’s horror elements.
The Wicked Isle DLC adds a variety of content to Atomfall as players are able to visit a new area that was previously inaccessible. The waters that surround the island are quiet and lonely, but that’s far from the case of what is occurring on the land.
Drifting away from the mainland
The expansion adds a whole new location to Atomfall, with its own set of characters and enemies, additional Leads, weapons, skills, items and multiple new endings for the main game. While playing the DLC, you are going to meet new enemy factions, including pirate bandits and infected druids. When it comes to weapons, wield the on-theme Blunderbuss shotgun, a new bow, cutlass, daggers and the Beekeeper’s Staff.
Wicked Isle is set on Midsummer Island. To cross the water to the island, players must talk to the boat-keeper who can be found on the jetty in Wyndham Village. He will give you information about the island, along with your first Lead.
The Wicked Isle expansion is included in the Deluxe Edition of Atomfall, as well as in the Deluxe Upgrade Pack. Additionally, Wicked Isle can be purchased separately for £14.99/$19.99 when it goes live on all platforms on June 3, 2025.
