Season 14 drops for Riders Republic with Pockett Cars and more

Pocket Cars DLC in Riders Republic.

Season 14, the second season of the fourth year of Riders Republic, is finally upon us. The launch of this new Spring-themed season brings with it a new gameplay toy in the form of Pockett Cars, and even new tools for more building-savvy players who want to try their hands at custom events.

Pockett rockets

In typical Riders fashion, the ‘cute’ naming scheme of the Pockett Cars firmly plant them in the wacky world that the Republic has to offer. These miniature vehicles have the ability to quickly get up to speed and traverse the wicked terrain of the virtual National Parks that encompass the Republic.

Built for speed and drifts, this new toy is set to add a fresh gameplay dynamic into the mix of Riders Republic’s already varied list of different gear. Riders can still perform tricks with ease, though the formula of maintaining speed and a clean trick combo is yet another skill to master.

There are three variants of the new Pockett Cars: Azur, Badger and Pinky. Functionally similar though visually distinct, the roster gives players a choice as to which one best suits them.

They can be purchased via the in-game Store for 1,050 Republic Coins a pop or altogether as part of the Year 4 Pass for 2,300 Republic Coins. The Bronze Pack of this virtual currency is valued at $9.99 USD for 1,050RC and the Silver Pack is valued at $19.99 USD for 2,300RC.

Players who drop into the game during week 1 of this new season have the chance to try out the Pockett Car during LIVE Events for free. The Pockett family will grow even larger later this year with the subsequent releases of the Pockett Plane and Pockett Hovercraft in Season 15. Still no mention of when the previously announced Dirt Bikes are coming, however.

Building blocks

While you’ll have to drop some coin to own the Pockett Cars, all players benefit from the inclusion of the new Event Creator. More tools are in the bag, along with improvements made to the building system to provide an easier, more streamlined system for players to make use of.

New objects like ramps, platforms, grind rails and more are a part of the new array of tools. These objects can be placed almost anywhere, along with the size and exact position being manipulated. This allows creators to bend their vision to the terrain of the Republic. Just like in other custom creators, objects can easily snap together and onto terrain for simplicity and efficiency.

Beyond these additions, of course, there are new Outfits in the Shop for purchase and new Season Progression targets to unlock more customization options and Gear.

Season 14 begins on March 19th and will run through to the end of June, 2025.
