A new leak points towards an Astro Bot PS5 bundle hitting storefronts in March. Unlike the Monster Hunter Wilds bundle that will only be available in Japan, the potential Astro Bot bundle may have wider availability.
Console bundles aren’t new and PlayStation has been known to launch exclusive bundles with hit titles such as Spider-Man and Fortnite. If the leak rings true, Astro Bot would be another addition to the list, but it certainly won’t be the last.
Could Astro Bot headline the next PS5 bundle?
According to Dealabs Magazine, an Astro Bot PS5 bundle is expected to be available in Europe and North America at least. It’s hardly surprising that Sony would want to put out an Astro Bot PS5 bundle, considering how many accolades the game has acquired. Most notably, it took home the prestigious Game of the Year award at The Game Awards in 2024.
The bundle is thought to include a PlayStation 5 console (with disc drive,) along with a download code for Astro Bot that players can digitally input straight into the console. Although a specific price remains unknown, the leak states that the chances are that a promotion will be offered with the launch of this bundle. Dealabs Magazine estimates that the price point will be between 474 and 499 euros.
As for a release date, it’s thought that this bundle will be available around March 13, 2025, but this is yet to be confirmed.
A PlayStation State of Play will take place on February 12, 2025 at 5pm ET. Perhaps the bundle will be revealed at the showcase, among a slew of other PS5 related news.
