Whether you’re continuing or just beginning your collection of Wingspan backgrounds, Seasonal Decorative Pack 2 has arrived with even more customisation options. Alongside the diverse backgrounds come new player portraits that are available exclusively in this expansion pack.
Keep in mind that this content is purely decorative and does not give you any advantage over other players. If you decide not to purchase the Seasonal Decorative Pack 2 but want to play with others who own it, you can still join a multiplayer game or a shared server as usual. Seasonal backgrounds will also appear periodically for all players, with the exception of the Post-apo Swamp Background with Common Snapping Turtle Portrait, which are exclusive to this pack.

The new pack is priced at £3.39/$4.99 and contains the following items:
- Refined Automa Background with Automa Portrait
- Scout Background with Duck-Scout Portrait
- Lunar New Year Background (with a relevant yearly patron) with Oriental Dragon Portrait
- Wingspan Anniversary Background with Birthday Scissor Flycatcher Portrait
- Quilts and Cats of Calico Background with Kitty Portrait
- Post-apo Swamp Background with Common Snapping Turtle Portrait
If you’re ready to celebrate the Lunar New Year or Wingspan Anniversary, themed backgrounds are sure to get you and your feathery characters in the spirit. As for Quilts and Cats of Calico, this background was created in relation to the release of the devs second board game adaptation.
As Wingspan continues to find success, perhaps more packs will join wildlife preserves in the future. Previously, the card game has received DLCs that offer new content, as well as cosmetics that are similar to those that appear in Seasonal Decorative Pack 2.
