Indiana Jones and the Great Circle stormed onto Xbox and PC on December 9, 2024 to high acclaim. The narrative driven gameplay and open area maps truly allow you to immerse yourself in a unique, yet familiar experience (especially with Indiana’s trademark whip.) So far, PS5 players have been locked out of Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, but there’s nothing wrong with being fashionable late.
The year is 1937, and various groups are on a mission to uncover the secret of an ancient power connected to the Great Circle. Taking on the role of Indiana Jones, it’s your job to stop the evil forces in their tracks and learn the secrets behind one of the grandest mysteries of all time.
Will Indiana Jones and the Great Circle release on PlayStation?
The game launched on PC and Xbox platforms first due to Microsoft’s multi-billion-dollar acquisition of Bethesda in 2021, resulting in a period of platform exclusivity. Xbox and PC owners can play the game now by either purchasing it from your platform’s store, or downloading it via Game Pass.
Although Indiana Jones and the Great Circle didn’t get the same release date for PS5, it has been confirmed that it will launch on Sony’s platform. In fact, the adventure already has a store page on PlayStation, indicating that a release date is “to be determined.” Pre-orders aren’t up, but you can add the game to your wishlist to receive a notification on when it will be available.
This isn’t the first time an Xbox exclusive has later joined the PlayStation platform. Hi-Fi Rush and Sea of Thieves are just a couple of examples that have gone multiplatform in recent times.
