Another new extreme sport is joining the ranks of the Riders Republic—Dirt Bikes. Players will be able to kick up the mud, dust, and more when these loud machines of mayhem are released in Year 4.
Ubisoft has officially confirmed the arrival of Dirt Bikes after teasing it in early promo images. This news comes just weeks after Mountainboards, the skateboard-like cousins of Dirt Bikes, were officially brought into the Republic.
No training wheels required
Ubisoft has partnered with largescale brand name KTM for this new activity. Licensed bikes from KTM will be a part of the package, with the expectation of delivering an “authentic riding experience.”
Interestingly enough, changes will be made to the Republic’s map to coincide with the release of the new Dirt Bikes. That said, Ubisoft is currently rather vague as to what all these changes will encompass. We do know, however, that these updates “will transform the map into a more thrilling and dynamic playground.”
Very little additional information has come out of this announcement, although one key detail has been confirmed upfront. Dirt Bikes will not include their own dedicated Career Mode.
This is a bit of a bummer compared to that of the Skate Pack that arrived a few months ago. Instead, it seems that Dirt Bikes will be more akin to that of the Mountainboard and Hoverboard which are primarily used in Mass Races and Live Events.
For now, there are no release window details, but it’s easy to guess that this will be a 2025 content drop. Perhaps it will launch in time for Spring? We’ll see.
In the meantime, Riders Republic is available now across PC and consoles. At the time of writing, Ubisoft is offering it at a steep discount, such as the Standard Edition on PC going for a mere $5 until December 3.
