Gamescom is one of the biggest showcases in the industry and this year, Xbox is coming in hot. They will be at the event for five days in total, with games being shown off on stream over three days.
If you want to catch all the action from Gamescom, you can tune in via the Gamescom Twitch or YouTube channels.
Gamescom lights up green
Xbox will be at Gamescom from August 20 to 25. “Join us at the Xbox booth with over 60 gaming titles and experiences from Xbox Game Studios, Blizzard, Bethesda, and third-party partners, including our ID@Xbox friends. Players will be able to experience a huge amount of exciting new games coming to Xbox consoles, PC, and Game Pass with fantastic photo opportunities and the return of Xbox FanFest.”
The Gamescom live broadcast will feature Xbox on August 21 to 23 showing off gameplay, providing deep dives, and containing developer interviews. Xbox appears to be going big and rightly so, they do have a huge amount of titles and updates on the way. Additionally, its biggest competition PlayStation and Nintendo have both already confirmed that they won’t be in attendance, putting Xbox directly in the spotlight.
With that being said, Xbox has garnered attention for all the wrong reasons as of late. After the acquisition of Activision Blizzard, Xbox has been hitting some of its studios with layoffs or shutting them down entirely. Consumers have also seen the Game Pass subscription service receive a price hike.
Whether you’re watching from home or you’re going to be at the venue in Cologne, Germany, there’s plenty for Xbox fans to look forward to.
