High-Performance Dailies is the title of the latest monthly update for Forza Horizon 5. As such a name suggests, it brings with it a variety of everyday cars that are quite zippy on the throttle, and are coveted for their speed.
Four new whips are a part of the soon-to-start Festival Playlist, including two Ford vehicles, and all-stars from both Dodge and Toyota.
Neighbourhood circuit
The 2022 Ford Focus ST, 2023, Toyota Camry TRD, 2023, Ford Fiesta ST, 2021, and Dodge Durango SRT Hellcat are up for grabs throughout this latest series update. Each of these vehicles are pretty common cars you’re likely to see out on the street, particularly in North America. But, again, despite their lack of rarity, what’s under the hood is what sets them apart from most other vehicles.
Of course, when unleashed through the virtual streets of Horizon Mexico, these rides can really strut their stuff. To help with just that, Playground has rolled out four new race routes that will be playable during this Festival Playlist, and also permanently thereafter.
Light ice
As far as additional update elements, this one’s a little lacking. Beyond the new races and vehicles, there’s a new avatar outfit that sports paint-covered overalls and a new collectible of the Horizon Tank character dressed in a business suit.
Indeed, quite a far cry from the DLC packs, Eventlab props, and new locales that’s been rolled out in prior updates.
While this particular Forza Horizon 5 update series is a little on the lighter side, the next patch in September is said to provide an all-new game mode, along with a Stadium Maze and the return of Pathfinder. As always, this will be coupled with a new selection of rewards cars. Curiously, it’s titled “Hidden Horizons,” so it certainly sounds like Playground has some interesting surprises in store.
