In 2021, Star Wars Outlaws was announced and it brewed excitement among fans of the franchise. We’ve already seen some gameplay details, but NVIDIA are turning our attention to the graphical capabilities of Star Wars Outlaws on PC.

DLSS 3.5 first became available on September 21, 2023 with the Cyberpunk 2.0 update and just before the Phantom Liberty DLC hit storefronts.

NVIDIA makes Star Wars Outlaws all about visuals

Back in April, 2024, it was announced that Star Wars Outlaws on PC will support NVIDIA DLSS 3, NVIDIA Reflex, ray-traced reflections, ray-traced shadows, NVIDIA RTX Direct Illumination (RTXDI), and ray-traced global illumination. It has now been revealed that NVIDIA DLSS 3.5 with Ray Reconstruction will be compatible with Ubisoft’s upcoming entry, enhancing ray tracing even further.

NVIDIA has released a video on YouTube, showcasing the difference between Ray Reconstruction enabled and disabled. The title will also feature NVIDIA RTX Direct Illumination, adding more detail to the visuals.

Outlaws is the first open-world Star Wars game set between the events of The Empire Strikes Back and Return of the Jedi. As you travel across the galaxy and explore distinct locations, visuals will really come into play and elevate your experience.

Star Wars Outlaws will officially release on PC via Ubisoft Connect on April 30, 2024. There are three editions of the game, Standard, Gold, and Ultimate. Pre-purchasing the Standard edition comes with the Kessel Runner Bonus Pack including, a cosmetic pack for your Speeder and a cosmetic for the Trailblazer starship.

The Gold edition throws in the Season Pass, along with three days worth of early access. The Ultimate edition adds in the Rogue Infiltrator Bundle, Sabbac Shark Bundle, and a Digital Artbook. Ubisoft+ members can play the Ultimate edition through the subscription service.
