Farming Simulator 25 grows home this November

Giants Software has formally unveiled the upcoming Farming Simulator 25, which launches in November. The next-generation of the hit Farming Simulator series will take the grain and tractors over to Asia for the very first time in the series’ history. Oh, and there’s buffalo to raise, too!

More to see, more to do

In addition to featuring an all-new region, Farming Simulator 25 brings with it a lot of other new components in tow.

Rice is a new growable crop, along with the ability to authentically flow rice fields as is done in real life. Fresh spinach is also now a part of the crop wheel, with the ability to now raise buffalo alongside other returning livestock like horses, pigs, chickens and more.

The production chains element introduced in Farming Simulator 22 is also making a return here and is joined by new construction missions which will help to “extend your business opportunities.”

John Deere, Case IH, CLAAS, Fendt, Kubota and many other authentic brands are returning in the new sim, coming in at a count of over 150 brands with 400 pieces of machinery and equipment.

Speaking of big engines, the Giants Engine, which has been powering the Farming Simulator series since its inception, has been given yet another upgrade. The graphical fidelity and physics simulation have been enhanced, now sporting modern mechanics like distance fog, dynamic weather effects, ground deformation and enhanced shadows, just to name a few.

Ready to rock, roll and bale

Farming Simulator 25 will hit the fields on November 12 for the PC, Xbox Series X|S and PS5; last-gen consoles have officially been dropped for this release.

Pre-orders are open now across all of the supported platforms, including a PC-only Collector’s Edition that features the game, and a lot of additional goodies such as a key chain, stickers, poster, and more.

There’s also a Year 1 Bundle already available for pre-order which includes the game, and the Year 1 Pass that grants access to upcoming content that will be released within the first year of the game’s launch: three content packs and a new map expansion.

More details will be rolled out about Farming Simulator 25 in the months ahead.
