Elden Ring is a highly acclaimed action RPG which has managed to collect numerous rewards since it stormed onto the market in February 2022. If you beat the base game, the chances are that you’ve been counting down the days until the arrival of the previously announced expansion. Bandai Namco has now posted an official Shadow of the Erdtree countdown calendar and things are starting to feel a lot more real.
The Shadow of the Erdtree expansion features a brand new narrative, dangerous dungeons, enemies, weapons and equipment.
The Land of Shadow awaits
In the lead up to the release of Shadow of the Erdtree, Bandai Namco has shared an official calendar for the month of June via X, counting down the days until the DLC goes live. The calendar includes key dates in June, but the most important date for fans is undoubtedly June 21. Summer begins the day before the DLC comes out, but gamers who have been waiting so long for the expansion won’t be concerned with spending the summer months indoors.
Shadow of Erdtree is available to pre-order now for a price of $40. That’s a huge price tag for a DLC, especially considering the fact that Elden Ring is currently priced at $50. Pre-purchasing the DLC will give you access to a Bonus Gesture, but it will be possible to unlock this later in the expansion.
In addition, you can pick up a Shadow of the Erdtree Deluxe Edition which includes artbooks and soundtracks, along with the base game and expansion.
If you’re on last generation consoles, you won’t miss out on this epic quest. Shadow of Erdtree will hit PlayStation 4 and Xbox One consoles, too. No Elden Lord left behind!
