The hit video game series, Little Nightmares showed off its third instalment at Gamescom in 2023. It was met with joy from the community and ever since, fans have been trying to get all the details on what the game could entail. That wondering is going to continue, as Little Nightmares 3 will now release in 2025 rather than 2024.
Little Nightmares 3 will see you follow the journey of Low and Alone. They need your help to search for a path that could take them out of the Nowhere. For the very first time in the franchise, the upcoming entry will support multiplayer. Take on the frightful world with a friend in online co-op, or solo with an AI companion by your side.
A new adventure awaits
In a statement released on the official Little Nightmares X account, the team express “as much as we can’t wait for you to return to the Nowhere, we also want to make sure we give the game the care and love it deserves. Quality is top priority for us, and we know you feel the same way.”
Due to this, the decision has been made to “shift the release date of the game to 2025.” A specific date or potential release window hasn’t been announced, but this won’t be the last we see of the game before it is ready to fully release.
Supermassive Games and Bandai Namco reveal that more details about Little Nightmares 3 will be shared “later this summer.”
