Content Warning has taken the co-op horror genre by storm, with 6.2 million players claiming their free copy of the game when it launched on April 1. In an announcement to celebrate this milestone, the developers acknowledged that they “know there are lots of bugs and server issues, we assure you that we are working on it.” The team has lived up to that promise by releasing yet another set of Content Warning patch notes.
Much like the game, your aim is to become viral sensations on a platform called SpookTube. As you embark on terrifying adventures with your squad, capture all the monsters and the reactions of your friends to accumulate more views. As you earn cash for bringing in views, you’ll be able to buy a range of items that improve the quality of your videos to help you become SpookTube famous.
Content Warning patch notes (April 5)
Landfall Games has shared details of the latest hotfix via X. The focus of the update is to make content creation a smoother experience.
- You can now see other players’ head movements when they look up and down
- You can now find equipment down in the Old World.
- Added steam-rich presence so your friends can see how viral you are
- You can now also invite friends from the Steam friends list
- Fixed a bug where the wrong amount of days left would show after sleeping
- Fixed a bug where the view quota would load incorrectly when playing from a save
Since the development team have been quick to respond to player feedback and make some much-needed fixes, it’s safe to say that we can expect to see more updates sooner rather than later.
