Grammy Award winner, Billie Eilish is preparing to join the virtual stage of Fortnite. The 22 year old singer known for hits such as Bad Guy and What Was I Made For? has already received a warm welcome from players.
For weeks there has been various rumours on who could be the next artist to headline Fortnite Festival. Epic Games has remained tight lipped, not giving too much away. With Fortnite’s next major update on the horizon, Billie Eilish has been confirmed as the next artist to join the game’s ever-growing roster of musicians.
“I’m the bad guy”
Fans first official look at the Billie Eilish skin was posted on Eilish’s social media accounts. The outfit features her recognisable green and black hair, while her outfit follows the same colour scheme. In addition, the skin comes equipped with fully green Nike shoes, part of Fortnite’s ongoing collaboration with the brand.
Specific details on what the Billie Eilish crossover will bring to the Fortnite Festival Main Stage remains unknown, but we can take a guess based on recent trends.
When Lady Gaga and The Weeknd joined the game, they received their own skin, emote, and other matching cosmetics which were available to purchase from the in-game store. A fresh Festival Pass also rolled out, packed with even more cosmetics, some free to earn and others locked behind premium tiers.
As for Fortnite Festival itself, we can expect hits from Billie Eilish to feature as Jam Tracks which you can perform on your chosen instrument with your friends.
Billie Eilish will debut the Fortnite Festival Main Stage on April 23, 2024.
