Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League has gotten off to a rough start to say the least. The game is riddled with bugs and although there have been efforts to squash them, a new issue has come to light which has left progression completely broken.
Considering that there are a laundry list of issues, Suicide Squad: Kill The Justice League has only received two updates since the game launched on February 2. Bug fixes seem to be slow, and the sheer number of them making themselves at home in the game is only increasing.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League patch is to blame for progression issues
In a statement released on X, Rocksteady Studios acknowledge that they’ve “received reports of a new issue that blocks progress while loading the Metropolis map after an Incursion mission” and they put it down to the update that rolled out on February 21.
The development team “are currently investigating the cause of this issue and we will provide you with an update as soon as we can.”
So far, players who have attempted to enjoy Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League have been greeted with game-breaking bug after game-breaking bug. According to one user, they “haven’t been able to play for the last three days,” not to mention that there are an abundance of server-related issues. To top it all off, achievements don’t work, truly taking progression off the cards.
Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League is set to have regular post-launch seasonal updates. However, if the team don’t put resources into fixing the main game, any future content drops won’t exactly encourage loyalty from its already struggling player base.
