Fortnite OG will reportedly return as a separate playlist

fortnite season og return as separate playlist leak tilted towers

When Fortnite OG launched back in November 2023, it broke player count records as millions of fans hopped online to experience the good old days of the battle royale. Although the season only lasted a month, it all began with Chapter 1 Season 5 and concluded with Season X. Due to the success of the OG season, it’s hardly surprising that the developers want to bring it back. The latest leak points towards Fortnite OG Part 2 launching as an individual playlist in the future.

Epic Games has already teased that Fortnite OG will return, but exact details on what it will entail are unclear (although it won’t be difficult to guess.)

Leak points towards Fortnite OG becoming its own playlist

According to prominent Fortnite leaker HYPEX, Fortnite OG will return as a separate mode. Hidden in the files of the latest Fortnite update, the mode was tagged as being part of an individual playlist. This may be music to fan’s ears, but there are still a lot of unanswered questions.

It’s unknown when Fortnite OG will return and whether or not it will stick around temporarily, or become a permanent mode such as LEGO Fortnite and Rocket Racing, for example.

Keep in mind that these plans aren’t officially announced, neither are they set in stone and they are subject to change as time goes on. Perhaps Fortnite will take the real OG route this time, bringing back the Season 1 map in all its glory (one can dream.)
