Roblox has a whole host of cosmetics to kit out your character, whatever your style. One of the most sought after outfits is the Headless Horseman and it has a hefty price tag. However, Roblox fans have been able to claim the Headless Horseman at no extra cost after it appeared free to claim in the store.
The Headless Horseman is an outfit that contains a total of 10 items. While dressed in all black, you’ll hold a pumpkin which resembles your head. As a result, your avatar will appear headless, giving you a spooky look. The skin is usually priced at a whopping 31,000 Robux which comes in at almost $300/£245 in real cash.
Temporarily losing your head
As players began to notice that the Headless Horseman bundle went free to claim in the Roblox store, thousands of players took advantage of the offer. The Roblox team never announced that the cosmetics were going to be free and it came as a surprise since Halloween has already passed.
We now know that the Headless Horseman was unintentionally made available for free and it is being removed from player accounts and taken off your avatar if you had it equipped.
In addition, the Headless Horseman and each individual cosmetic tied to the bundle has been delisted from the Roblox store. You can still view the items, but you’ll be greeted with a message informing you that “this item is not currently for sale.”
The majority of Roblox cosmetics are purchased with Robux. If you need more free cosmetics to replace the Headless Horseman or you just want to freshen up your style, you can find them by navigating to the marketplace and sorting the price from “low to high.”
