Bethesda’s latest entry went into early access less than a week ago and there are already over 800 mods, with millions of downloads in total.
At the time of writing, the most popular mod is is a Starfield Upscaler. This transforms the game, making it compatible with DLSS or XeSS, instead of FSR2.
Other popular mods address parts of the game that players have complained about the most. You can download an inventory revamp, with a display that’s more compact and easy to navigate. In addition, a handy mod boosts your FPS, thanks to performance optimisations. If you aren’t a fan of the colour filters, they can be removed, giving your game a more neutral colour palette.
