Over the past few years, preservation has become a hot topic among gamers. In fact, we even wrote a feature focused on game preservation and emulation. The industry isn’t exactly doing a great job, favouring remasters over preserving their own titles. With an increasing number of games being lost to time, more will unfortunately see this fate. The team over at NIS America has announced that they’re delisting 6 of their games from PSN and Switch digital stores.
The games will depart from the Nintendo eShop and PlayStation Network (including, PS3, PS4 and PS Vita) in both US and EU regions. The first three games will be removed from stores in just a few days time, so grab them while you still can.
NIS America are delisting multiple RPGs
Here are all the games impacted and the dates they’ll be delisted:
- Demon Gaze (PS Vita) – June 11, 2023
- GOD WARS: Future Past (PS4, PS Vita) – June 15, 2023
- The Lost Child (PS4, PS Vita, Nintendo Switch) – June 18, 2023

Some NIS America games are currently on sale in the Nintendo eShop, including The Lost Child which has 90% off until the game leaves the store in a matter of days.
It is unknown why NIS America are delisting these games However, it just goes to show how important physical game copies are, even in the digital age.
