If you’re tired of eating the same food in Sons of the Forest, you may want to use a Cooking Pot to make meal times a little more interesting.
Right now, there are two guaranteed Cooking Pot spawn points, but you may come across one in other areas. Below, we’ve described the locations you need to visit and marked them on the map.
Where to find a Cooking Pot in Sons of the Forest
There are two Cooking Pot locations, one on each side of the island. Perhaps the easiest Cooking Pot to access is in an abandoned camp on the western side of the map. The camp can be found to the east of the two rivers that run parallel down that side of the map. Upon arrival, you’ll see the Cooking Pot sat right in the middle of the camp.
Alternatively, you can track down a Cooking Pot on the east side of the island, in the bunker that’s beside the largest body of water on that section of the map. Once you’re inside the bunker and made your way through the double doors, go to the end of the dark rooms and you’ll spot some stairs. Follow them down and enter the first door on the right and you’ll find a Cooking Pot sitting on a stove. Keep in mind that you’ll need the Guest Keycard to access this area. If you haven’t already collected it, the Guest Keycard is on a table inside the bunker near the western beach.
When you’re ready, fill your Cooking Pot with water at a lake or stream and place it on a Reinforced Fire. Now you know where to find a Cooking Pot in Sons of the Forest, all that’s left to do is add food and see what recipes you can cook up.
