Hogwarts Legacy hit the ground running when it first launched in February, breaking Twitch records and taking fans to a unique world, set approximately 100 years before Harry Potter. If you’re a PlayStation 4 or Xbox One user, its almost time to get your very own wand. Hogwarts Legacy is still available to pre-order, providing you with the base game as well as a bunch of other in-game goodies. Pre-ordering the Standard Edition will see you receive the Onyx Hippogriff (Xbox One and PS4,) Felix Felicis Potion Recipe (PS4 exclusive,) and the Haunted Hogsmeade Shop Quest (PS4 exclusive.) The Deluxe Edition includes all the Standard Edition rewards, along with the Dark Arts Pack and Dark Arts Garrison Hat
Will Hogwarts Legacy have an early access period on PS4 and Xbox One?
PC, PS5, and Xbox Series X/S players who pre-ordered the Special Edition of the game were granted 72 hours of early access, but this isn’t the case for the PS4 and Xbox One version. Instead, the title will go live on last generation consoles at midnight local time on May 5. Its expected that there won’t be an early access period for Nintendo Switch players either, who have to wait until July to get their hands on the wizarding world of Hogwarts Legacy.
Although there’s no Hogwarts Legacy early access for PS4 and Xbox One users, the game has been out on new generation consoles and PC for a while, so you know exactly what to expect when you begin your first playthrough.
